Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)
When we start walking according to YHWH’s instructions we are required to analyze every aspect of our lives to see if anything that we have been doing while we were part of the world is pleasing in YHWH’s eyes.
Analyzing every aspect of our life is a difficult task that must be done. Because YHWH is our Elohim, this means that all glory must go to Him. One of those things is whether we should celebrate our birthdays?
One thing we must realize is that it is not about us but about YHWH. Are we doing this for ourselves are we doing this for YHWH? With the upcoming world celebration of a birthday of ‘Jesus” it is our responsibility to do what is right in YHWH’s eyes.
Simply put, we should not celebrate our birthdays or anyone else for that matter. Watch the video and find out.
יברכך יהוה וישׁמרך׃
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך׃
ישׂא יהוה פניו אליך וישׂם לך שׁלום׃
YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHWH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHWH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)
Have a blessed Shabbat.
Shalom,
Dirk
