Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)
This is a message separate from my weekly Shabbat lesson. It was brought to my attention that an erroneous teaching about Shabbat was being taught to both the deaf and hearing people.
As a believer we are responsible to test everything with YHWH’s Word and hold fast to what is good. As a teacher, I wanted to show you how I tested the teaching about Shabbat and to show you how I was able to prove that the teaching was in error.
We must be careful not to allow our ears to be tickled and be led away from the truth of the Word of YHWH. By going to the word and testing everything, we become stronger in our faith of YHWH’s promises and walk deeper in our obedience to YHWH’s commandments.
יברכך יהוה וישׁמרך׃
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך׃
ישׂא יהוה פניו אליך וישׂם לך שׁלום׃
YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHWH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHWH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)
May YHWH bless you in your studies!
Shalom,
Dirk
