Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)
Today’s this week’s reading is called Parashah Nitzavim from Deuteronomy 29:9 (10) to 30:20.
Obeying the Torah is not too hard. Despite what many people say, the Torah really is not that hard! The confusion from both Judaism and Christianity causes people to think that following the Torah is very difficult and as a result prevents people from really walking in the narrow path that YHWH set for his People Israel.
Let the Scriptures speak for itself, Yeshua is Torah, by accepting Yeshua, we also accept the Torah which are the commandments, laws, and right-rulings from YHWH. Yeshua is the Torah come to life. By choosing Yeshua we choose life. We live by doing the Torah.
When you accept Yeshua and not do Torah, you are in fact rejecting Yeshua.
When you do the Torah and do not accept Yeshua, you are actually rejecting Torah.
So choose wisely, choose life—the Torah is not that hard!
YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHWH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHWH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)
Have a blessed Shabbat.
Shalom,
Dirk
