Who Are You?

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

Today’s this week’s reading is called Parashah Ki Tavo from Deuteronomy 26:1-29:8.

The question “Who Are You?” is intended for those who believe in Yeshua (and for the Christians who believe in Jesus).  The whole Scripture from Genesis to Revelation is about the Covenant between YHWH and His People Israel.  It is basically a Love Story about what happened between YHWH and Israel.  Praises must go to YHWH for making it possible for Israel to be His People again.

Many people especially Christians or Messianics have failed to mature and realize that there are more important things that we should be doing for YHWH.  Before they can do that, they need to realize who they really are—Israelites.

As an Israelite, we do what is right in the eyes of YHWH and walk in His Ways, Keep His Laws, Keep His Commandments, Keep His Right-Rulings and Listen/Obey to His Voice.   Let us return to the Torah and knowing who we are and start learning what we are supposed to do as a Wife for YHWH.

YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHWH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHWH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)

Have a blessed Shabbat!

Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

Today’s this week’s reading is called Parashah Ki Teitzei from Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19.

Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage is misunderstood by those who say they believe in YHWH/Yeshua as well as those in Messianic and in Christianity and as a result there are a lot of people disobeying YHWH when people get divorced and remarry. The fact is they are doing it out of selfish hearts and do not honor YHWH.

The picture of Marriage between YHWH and House of Israel gives us a better understanding of the reason why Yeshua came here as a human being. This is an awesome lesson for those who desire to grow deeper in YHWH and Yeshua. This lesson also shows that Torah is still part of our lives because it glories YHWH who keeps the Torah he gave us as part of His Covenant with the House of Israel.

Have a blessed Shabbat

Prophet Like Unto Mosheh

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

Today’s this week’s reading is called Parashah Shopthim from Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9.

Yeshua is the Prophet who is like unto Mosheh. It is Yeshua’s mouth who YHWH puts His Words and has Yeshua speak all that YHWH commands. Watch the lesson to learn about Yeshua who came as a Prophet for YHWH.

As we learn who Yeshua is and what He has done for us in His Father’s Name, it is a very enlightening experience to have our understanding expanded and wisdom given by our Abba (Father).

As Ephesian 2:17 says, Yeshua came for those who are far off (House of Israel who are lost) and those who are near (House of Judah). He is making both into one body. Blessed be He who comes in the Name of YHWH! May YHWH be praised! May we be blessed to see this happen in our day.

Have a blessed Shabbat

Shalom,

Dirk
