Preparing For The Ten Tests During The Greater Exodus

Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

During the Greater Exodus, YHVH shows us how we should be prepare.  What has happened in the First Exodus will happen in the Second and Greater Exodus.  This lesson shows us why it is important to be prepared by knowing what happened in the past in order to prepare for the future.

This lesson helps give us perspective of why we do YHVH’s festivals and obey the commandments He gave us.  Let this lesson give you confidence in knowing that we are walking in the right path and preparing for what YHVH has set for us in the beginning.

יברכך יהוה וישׁמרך׃
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך׃
ישׂא יהוה פניו אליך וישׂם לך שׁלום׃

YHVH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHVH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHVH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

This week is the Torah Portion is called Vayera which means “And He Appeared”.

When we accept Yahushua as our Messiah, we are put in a right relationship with our Father YHVH. The result of that relationship we become strangers and sojourners in the world. The lesson is about how we treat other people according to the example that Abraham showed to the strangers who stopped at his tent.

Let us conduct ourselves in a way that esteems YHVH at all times. After all, we do not know who else is watching us in how we behave to strangers and to other people.
