Thanksgiving Do-Do?

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

YHWH, our Abba, has set aside time for us to celebrate His Feasts. So what are we to do with Thanksgiving?

These are the questions we, as a believer in YHWH and his Son Yahushua, must ask in order to ensure that we remain on the straight and narrow path.

When we get the answers YHWH shows us then it is our responsibility to do what is right and pleasing in His eyes.

יברכך יהוה וישׁמרך׃
יאר יהוה פניו אליך ויחנך׃
ישׂא יהוה פניו אליך וישׂם לך שׁלום׃

YHWH will kneel before you presenting gifts and will guard you with a hedge of protection,
YHWH will illuminate the wholeness of his being toward you bringing order and he will beautify you,
YHWH will lift up his wholeness of being and look upon you and he will set in place all you need to be whole and complete (Numbers 6:24-26)

Have a blessed Shabbat

Shalom,

Dirk

Yahushua and the Blue Thread

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

To obey YHWH’s commandments in the Torah is a joy. One of those commandments in the Torah is to wear tzitzits or tassels on our garments.

Wearing tzitzits is to continuously remind us of YHWH’s commandments. In the Torah we are commanded to wear the tzitzits with the blue thread/cord in it. If Yahushua wore them in honor of His Father, we should do the same and give our Abba (Father) YHWH honor and glory.

Shalom,

Dirk

Shabbat: Yesterday, And Today, And Forever

Shabbat Shalom Achim (brothers and sisters in Hebrew)

Shabbat is YHWH’s set-apart day that we spend with on the 7th day of the week. This video explains my journey from when I learned about Shabbat and started obeying it. When we begin to keep Shabbat, it is a learning process on how to correctly observe Shabbat. I have made mistakes along the way and learned how to serve YHWH deeper the more I honored His Set Apart day.

Shabbat is a time where we are fully focused on YHWH and not the world. It is an awesome day.

Shalom,
